Day Two of the Green River Rendezvous

More photos of this fascinating look into history...

Lunch at the Rendezvous. Buffalo Burger, cheese, onions, mustard, and mayo.
Looks a bit burnt but wasn't and was delicious. MMmmm.

Those buildings in the back are the town of Daniel Junction, WY. Where we stay.

Cool hat.

Expressive hands.

Explaining fine points of Mountain Man armament,

Love the Wolf hat.

A little maintenance.

Looks a little like that actor from Dances with Wolves.

Bad Hand and his War Pony. What a Fantastic speaker he is.

Bad Hand's Dog. (no wolf blood, just Sheppard, reminding me of my boy Riley)
War Pony. Those blood marks are representative of battle wounds the pony received. A Purple Heart for the Pony.

Speaking of packing, what, how and why. Bikers have picked up a lot of their expertise.

Even the participants enjoy the lectures. I know I sure did.

A fascinating man to Speak with. Looks a lot like Billy Joe Shaver.

He calls me Air Force and I call him Marine. A great guy and extremely knowledgeable on history.

Even the young enjoyed the presentations.

Target Practice. Notice the axe has not yet landed in the trunk.

Perfect throwing form.
